Shipping & Returns
Every parcel is fully insured and requires a signature. We do not leave a diamond on a doorstep. This policy forms part of our Terms & Conditions.

1. When it ships
Paid loose stones ship within one to two business days. Made-to-order mountings ship when they are finished and checked, normally four to six weeks from CAD approval. We give you an estimated date when we approve the design, and we tell you if it moves.
2. How it travels
Within the United States: insured carrier, signature required on delivery, full tracking. We do not authorize release without signature, and we cannot leave a parcel with a neighbour or at a pickup point unless you arrange that directly with the carrier at your own risk.
3. Cost
Shipping cost is shown before you pay. Insured domestic shipping within the United States is free on orders of $500 and above.
4. International
We ship outside the United States, insured and tracked. Duties, VAT and import taxes are the buyer's responsibility and are charged on arrival. They vary considerably by country. Write to us before bidding and we will tell you what we know about your country, though the final figure is always set by your customs authority, not by us.
5. If it arrives damaged, or does not arrive
Tell us within 48 hours of delivery, with photographs of the parcel and the contents. Every shipment is insured and we handle the carrier claim ourselves: you are not chasing anyone. If a parcel is lost in transit we replace the stone or refund you, your choice.
6. Returns on loose stones
Fourteen days from delivery. The stone must come back unused, unmounted, with its IGI report and its original packaging. Write to us first for an insured return label; a return sent without notice and without insurance travels at your own risk. We refund to the original payment method within five business days of receiving and verifying it.
7. Returns on made-to-order pieces
A piece built to your approved design cannot be returned, because it cannot be resold. This is standard in the trade, and it is why we spend so long on the sketch and the CAD before anyone touches gold. A manufacturing defect is a different matter: we repair it or remake it without argument.
8. What is not refunded
The original shipping cost on a change-of-mind return. A stone that has been set, inscribed or altered by another jeweler. A piece damaged by misuse.
9. Exchanges
Within the fourteen-day window, an exchange for a different stone is faster than a refund and we treat it as a priority. If the new stone costs more you pay the difference; if it costs less we refund it.
10. Repairs
During the twelve-month warranty, a manufacturing defect is repaired at no cost, including shipping both ways. After that, we repair what we made at the bench's cost price, and we give you a figure before we start.
11. How to start a return
Write to info@lucernamiami.com with your name, the order number or the IGI report number, and one line about what happened. A person replies the same business day.
